SAVAGE March 1, 1692, Salem, Massachusetts authorities interrogated Sarah Good, Sarah Osborne, and Tituba, to determine if they were practicing witchcraft. Thus began the what came to be known as the Salem Witch Trials. Between 1692 and 1693 in Salem more than 200 people were accused of witchcraft, and 20 were executed, 19 women and 1 man.
